Monarc’s new headquarters

move forward—-

Two wells have been drilled: One is producing 70 Gallons Per Minute from about 70’ below the surface is crystal clear—this water , which is stable year round at 56 degrees, will be used to heat and cool the building.

The site plan is ready to be submitted and Falls Church City is on track, to give Monarc approval to close part of Hunton Avenue, to use for parking and landscaping, allowing the site to be enclosed.

I am continuously amazed with the high  level of interest being shown by all people and organizations, I talk to about the

building and the Zero Energy Green Building Concept . 

The following is a conceptual look at the building design and lay out.  We  hope to start interior demolition and excavation for the basement in November and our goal is to be in place by June 20th, 2007-Monarc’s 20th Anniversary (1987-2007).
