Expanding By Contracting Service Projects
Located at 1401 16th St, NW the chancery is an historic structure built in 1888 in the Richardsonian Romanesque style. Known as the Sherman House it is one of many notable homes in the 16th Street Historic District. In addition to the original embassy renovation, Monarc Construction provides a wide array of services to both this building and the embassy’s residence building next door. The ambassador’s residence is located at 2534 Belmont Rd, NW in the historic Sheridan-Kalorama neighborhood. Constructed in 1922 the building was designed in the Classical Revival style by architect William Lawrence Bottomley. Recently expanded and modernized by the team of Kvell Corcoran Associates and Monarc Construction the house serves as a center piece of the European Union’s presence in the United States. Monarc Service provides an annual inspection of the property as well as emergency service and maintenance.
Managed by AIMCO, Inc and located at 1325 15th St, NW this high-rise condominium complex was recently renovated by Monarc Construction. Including both apartment upgrades and a lobby remodel the Monarc Service department continues to maintain a presence onsite. As each apartment is vacated our service department is ready to provide whatever work is necessary to prepare it for the next tenant. Work includes basic preparations such as paint and carpet but also more complicated needs such as kitchen and bathroom renovations.
The Parish of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Community is located in Alexandria, VA at 1427 West Braddock Rd. Monarc Service maintains a relationship with the Parish through several projects including a recent major renovation of the sanctuary and alter. This work included minor structural modification as well as a complete replacement of finishes.
Monarc Service acts as the day-to-day property manager overseeing the maintenance of this large ambassadorial residence and grounds located on 26 acres. Located at 3900 Nebraska Ave in Northwest DC the house is an historical structure originally built in the 1930s. Georgetown Presbyterian Church
The first Protestant church established in the Washington, D.C. area, the Georgetown Presbyterian Church was constructed in 1782 and still stands today as a landmark of Georgetown. Monarc Construction recently completed several major renovations throughout the buildings including the original sanctuary. New lighting and lighting controls were installed in the sanctuary. In addition, plaster repairs and floor finishes were completed throughout the buildings.
This historic campus located in the heart of Georgetown is home one of the most renowned universities. Monarc Service provides a variety of construction services including carpentry, framing, dywall, finishing, flooing, painting, mechanical and electrical work. Renovation of abandoned railroad station in Quantico, VA. Built in the early 1950's, as part of the town's infrastructure, the station also supports the U.S. Marine Base and remains an important link to Washington, D.C. Monarc's renovation of its 1,500 sqft station included replacement of the entire roof system, interior finishes and restoration of furniture and ticket counter. |
