The project involved installing a new monumental
entrance stair and connecting the sanctuary and school/administration building with a new
entrance and elevator. In addition, the columbarium (burial site) was expanded with new windows and handicap access. The entire administration and school wing of the building was renovated.

 

 

 

 

Blessed Sacrament Church

Alexandria, VA

Contract Amount: $2.4 million

 

This project consisted of  the renovation of the Church Rectory and the upgrade of the ADA requirements and the renovation of the Church Sanctuary with the addition of a new chapel.

 

 

 

Junius A. Wheeler Memorial Fellowship Hall

Antioch Baptist Church

Washington, DC

Contract Amount: $2.4 million
 
This project involved the renovation of the existing sanctuary and construction of a new two story plus basement addition containing offices, classrooms, daycare facility, bathroom, commercial kitchen, fellowship hall and roof deck. New HVAC, plumbing, sprinkler and electrical systems were also installed.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Oakland Baptist Church

Alexandria, VA

Contract Amount: $2.3 million

 

The original Oakland Baptist Church was enlarged to facilitate a bigger congregation. This required the complete removal of the original building and a new nave and supporting undercroft, while keeping the original façade in place; and the construction of a new church including a kitchen and meeting rooms behind the original façade.
 
 

Dumbarton United Methodist Church

Washington, DC

Contract Amount: $382,547
 
 
This project consisted of the construction of an elevator building into this historic church. The life safety system was upgraded and there was construction of new meeting and guest rooms and kitchen facilities. Extra handicap ramps and access were constructed to blend into the historic area.
 
 
 
 
 
 

Trinity Presbyterian Church

Bethesda, MD

 
Owner: Trinity Presbyterian Church of Bethesda
 
Contract Amount: $320,000
 

This church, built around 1960, had a badly failing roof that needed to be completely replaced, along with structural repairs and alterations due to water and termite damage.

 

The church contains a large and very active daycare center along with administrative and other meeting facilities. The roof had to be removed in phases and the building kept water-tight at all times during the construction phase.
