History

Monarc Construction, Inc. has undergone many changes since it was first founded in 1987 by John Bellingham and the Trammel Crow Company. The Company's original name was Monarc, Inc., but during the troubled 90's Monarc, Inc. and Trammel Crow separated. As a result of the separation, the company changed its name to Monarc Construction. In July 1999, Monarc Construction purchased and merged with Boulder Construction Corp., forming Monarc Construction, Inc.

Organizations

Monarc Construction, Inc. is a proud member of the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), the DC Preservation League (DCPL), the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Washington Building Congress (WBC) and DC Building Industry Association (DCBIA).

Community Involvement

Monarc Construction, Inc. is a proud supporter and annual participant of DCBIA's Community Improvement Day.
