Georgetown University Healy Hall - Basement Washington, DC

The Healy Hall renovation project aimed to transform the entire ground floor of Georgetown University’s flagship building. To meet the wellness and study needs of the Georgetown community, we created a new student lounge that combines modern amenities with historic charm, featuring exposed wooden ceilings and original brick arches.

Landon School – Freeman and Wilson Buildings Bethesda, MD

We orchestrated a vast sub-pool across two buildings, skillfully managing and uniting a variety of trades to bring our vision to life. Navigating the school's numerous restrictions and requirements added an extra layer of complexity, but our team thrived under pressure. In just three months, our dynamic team delivered over $6 million worth of high-quality work.


Marquette University – O'Brien House Washington, DC

As part of student housing for Marquette University’s DC campus, this complete renovation modernized 6 apartment suites while restoring the exterior facades.  


Gallaudet University – Student Housing Interior Washington, DC

Over 5 different dormitories and 70,000 sf, the project included renovation of lobbies, hallways and common spaces. This included major upgrades to lighting, ceilings and floors, and minor upgrades mechanical and sprinkler systems.  The scope also included new storefronts and extensive new millwork.

Stanford University in Washington   Washington, DC

In concurrent to the renovation of Stanford's existing campus building on Connecticut Ave., Monarc erected a new 5-story mixed use building adjacent to its existing property.  With the awareness for green building principals, Stanford voluntarily implemented environmentally conscious design into the building such as a green roof, dual flush water closets and furniture made from sustainable wood products.

Rosemount Center:  Washington, DC

Owner: House of Mercy
Architect: Blackburn Architects


Built in 1911 as the House of Mercy home for unwed mothers, the facility was reorganized to be Rosemount Center in 1972; and has since become one of the premier childcare and early educational centers in the United States. 

In addition to site improvements and modernizing the building systems, Monarc completed a full interior and exterior architectural restoration.
